1. Prezi - This web tool is used to create a visual presentation when using texts, images, videos, and animations. This tool provides many different ways to show your creativity during a presentation. This tool can be used for many different educational purposes in my classroom. Some of which are presentations, speeches, or a group project.
2. Google Docs - This web tool can be used to upload important files. It can also be used to edit an old file or to simply share with someone. If a student needs guidance, with this tool they can also allow someone access to it so they can help guide them. This tool can be used for a group project outside of school. It can also be used during a peer review assignment during an essay.
3. Hot Potatoes - This web tool can be used for a total of six different applications. With these applications you are allowed to create interactive multiple choice, short answer, mixed sentence, crossword, matching, and gapfill. This tool can be used for classroom educational purposes. For example right before a test, students can receive a crossword puzzle for extra studying.
4. Kubbu - This web tool can be used to create games, quizzes, crosswords. You can make it available to students. This tool allows free teacher accounts for thirty students and fifteen activities. Educators can use this tool to create fun ways for the children to study for test and quizzes.
5. Quizlet - This web tool can be used for studying. It allows students to study vocabulary, science, math, history, social studies or almost anything. This tool also allows you to create your own flash cards with friends. This tool is great for both inside and outside of the classroom studying.
6. Jeopardy Labs -This web tool can be used to create your own jeopardy template with PowerPoint. The games you make can be played online from anywhere in the world. This tool allows you to make your own or browse other jeopardy templates by others. Teachers can use this tool to create a study guide that the children can access from anywhere that will help prepare them for future test and exams.
7. CollaborizeClassroom - This web tool can be used to collaborate. This tool allows students to engage in online activities, assignments, and discussions. This tool also allows teachers to download free lesson plans. This tool can be used for students to communicate with both their classmates and their teacher. It is very helpful when students have problems with work outside of school.
8. Smories - This web tool can be used for reading tools. This tool is a place for original stories to be published. When these stories are posted, children are allowed to read them. This would be a good tool to use both inside and outside of the classroom. Today, technology is in and most children would rather read from an electronic device verses a book.
9. Search Crystal - This web tool can be used for research. This tool allows you to do research, but unlike others it also allows you to compare multiple engines in one place. It also allows you to search from the best web, image, video, and blog. This tool can be useful inside of the classroom during a research assignment.
10. Class Tools - This web tool can be used to for visual aids. It helps when you are trying to show numbers by using a graph or chart. It also can be useful whenever students are doing a compare/contrast assignment. This tool can be used during a presentation. Students and/or teachers might use this to show a visual of numbers or differences.
