Pinterest in the Classroom
Pinterest is a very unique website. The website can be used for many things. The one thing that it can be used for is the classroom. Pinterest has a lot of different post such as classroom decorations and hands on projects that can be used in the classroom. I used pinterest to form ideas on a project for my classroom. The website gave me a lot of different ideas. I chose to pick the SLE ESS.8.6.1 Identify and diagram the layers of the Earth: crust, mantle, inner and outer core.

I completed this assignment to create an example of what the project should look like. I learned the layers of the Earth. I also learned important facts about each of its layers.
Step 1- Students should log into their google account and open up a new file in google docs.

Step 2- Each student should then create a MOST Wanted Flyer for the Earth.
Step 3- Students should create a title. BE CREATIVE!

Step 4-Next, Students should search for a picture of the earth from google. The picture should be a clear picture of the earth with written labels of the layers. It should also show the inner layers of the earth.

Step 5-Students should make a list of characteristics of the suspect. The suspect in this case is the earth while the characteristics of the suspect is its layer.

Step 6-The list should consist of characteristics of the Earth’s layers named in order from inner to outer layer. Each layer should have at least two fun facts about them.
Step 7- Finally,  students should upload their Most Wanted flyer to their google drive.
